The sever situation of people with amputation disability 

The Gaza Strip is considered one of the most densely populated areas in the world, and a series of severe crises are gathering in it from a suffocating siege that has been going on for 13 years. In addition, the repetition of the barbaric aggression against it does not differentiate between humans, stone, or trees, the last of which was the attacks on the march of return and breaking the siege that left more than 30 thousand wounded, and the features of those crises, to which the limited governmental and civil capabilities are added, are visible at all levels of life in the Gaza Strip to leave their families after the lives of their martyrs ’sons were deported and the wounds inhabited the bodies of their wounded, and the rubble became an address for their homes or left the rest of a house signed with missiles of destruction and destruction, and the result There is no shelter nor the necessities of a decent life with these calamities and tragedies that our people in the Gaza Strip are going through and the escalation of the blockade from all sides.

people dream to access health care in Gaza 

The dream of completing the treatment for the wounded and their access to health care that should live up to their recessed wounds and severed bodies are still distant, so there are no medical ingredients and assistive rehabilitation tools that give them hope  or alleviate their suffering and pain. Hence it is of humanitarian duty to stand with the wounded people in the Gaza Strip, especially those with amputations in their limbs to enhance their steadfastness and get them out of this ordeal to protect them from the risk of isolation, lack of will and loss behind the veil of their inability to adapt to their own circumstances.

About the project:   

The repeated Israeli wars on the Gaza Strip left a large number of people with disabilities, "amputation", However, artificial limbs appeared to be an opportunity to restore movement to their bodies and hope for their souls after the injury nearly affected their will and limited their movement. Therefore, the association works to provide what helps them to continue in hope and strengthen the will so that the artificial limbs and their requirements are a means of assistance only, as it will not be a substitute for those parties that have been lost.

We aim to install prostheses for 5 wounded amputees:

The project works on installing prostheses for 5 wounded amputees, while preparing them to adapt to their use in their daily lives and preparing them to integrate into society. Thus, we turn to you with this project, hoping to contribute to the service of (5) wounded people by supporting this project and providing the necessary support for it.

Special objectives of the project: 

 Providing 5 wounded amputees with prostheses.  Alleviate the tragic economic situation of the wounded with special needs and their families.  Helping the wounded with special needs to integrate into society and follow their normal life.  Providing them with an aid that gives them the ability to move and move around in carrying out their various life activities.  Improve the aesthetic appearance and enhance the self-confidence of the wounded.

The project justification: 

 The numbers of injured people with amputation in their limbs are very large due to the large number of attacks and their repetition due to the use of dangerous and deadly weapons.  The negative psychological impact on the wounded with special needs and the embarrassment of their involvement in society.  The absence of projects to provide suitable prosthetic prostheses for the injured due to their high cost.  Limited governmental and private capabilities to provide prosthetic prostheses for the wounded.  The difficult financial situation in the Gaza Strip and the high costs of installing prosthetic.

Expected Outcomes:

 Install prosthetic prostheses for (5) injured people with amputation.  Reintegration of the wounded from disability and increasing their ability to communicate with society.  Provide comfort and freedom of movement for the disabled and raise their spirits.  Reducing the burdens placed on the wounded and their families in this difficult financial situation.

Project continuity:

The association will continue after the implementation of this project (prosthesis erection) as follows: - Providing the needs of the wounded in all other respects. - Maintenance of the prosthetic prosthesis for the injured, through specialists. - The association will continue with the full and comprehensive rehabilitation process for the wounded with special needs. - Re-launch the project continuously on the supportive parties and donors from the people of goodness to complete the installation of artificial limbs       and provide tools to help the wounded, just like others.

The association has many opportunities and capabilities that guarantee the successful implementation of the project to the fullest extent and achieve its desired goals in an optimal way. Among these opportunities are the following: 1- The societal and professional society’s responsibility towards the wounded: As the number of wounded registered in the association reached more than 16,000, and the number is always increasing, the association guarantees their service through its facilities and medical points. 2- The association inaugurates charitable medical centers: The association has established the Radwan Medical Charitable Center, which is the first charitable center that provides free service to the wounded, and the center contains a gathering of many specialized departments, including the Psychological Support Department, to provide the necessary rehabilitation for the wounded with special needs, such as aids and others. 3- The association's vast experience in serving and rehabilitating the wounded: The association provides various services for the wounded in all aspects of their lives, especially those with special needs, and the association implemented, in cooperation with many supportive parties, many projects to install prosthetic prostheses and provide them with auxiliary tools from "medical glasses, medical headsets and artificial eyes" in continuation of its continuous efforts in the service of the wounded . 4- Qualified staff: The association is staffed by qualified personnel specialized in providing high-quality service to the wounded at the administrative and other medical, social and cultural levels.
